Review by hotel critic
Upon our recent stay at Lavender Farm Guest House, my husband and I found the experience to be a blend of luxury and practicality. the location offered a tranquil escape, and the well-kept grounds were a feast for the eyes. the absence of amenities like underfloor heating during colder periods was noted, aligning with the luxury gap expected in locations such as the KZN Drakensberg. the breakfast was a definite highlight, showcasing a variety of locally sourced treats that catered to different preferences. The accommodations were comfortable, though lacking some standard luxuries. Elements like electric blankets would enhance the value proposition, especially during chilly nights. the overall cleanliness and attentive service by the staff were appreciated, yet a few additional touches could elevate the luxury factor. Lavender Farm Guest House provides a serene setting and quality service, making it a charming choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat.
